M 31 (Andromeda Galaxy) Galaxies

M 31 (Andromeda Galaxy)

M31
M31

Our nearest galactic neighbor. About 2.5 million light years distant, somewhat larger than our own Milky Way galaxy, heading towards us with a speed of 300km/sec.

Do a short math and you will see that both galaxies will collide in a few billion years … well, time enough for a good plan. But our sun will have roasted earth at that time anyway and if our late descendants will still exist, they must have found another earth in order to survive.
Also visible M 32 and M 110, two satellite galaxies of M 32.
I could nicely retrieve these lanes of dust and also the slightly blueish glowing star forming regions in the outer spiral arms.
