NGC 4395
NGC 4395

A small and faint galaxy in constellation Canes Venatici, only about 15 million light years away.

Its central black hole is pretty small … only 10000 to 100000 times the mass of the sun. It has a bright active core and it is classified as a Seyfert 2 galaxy.
Some very nice HII star forming regions do now show up clearly.
