Comet C2022 E3 (ZTF) together with IC405 (Flaming Star Nebula) and IC410 (Tadpoles Nebula)

I got another chance on this rare visitor of the inner solar system. It is now already on its way back into the darkness of the outer solar system. However solar radiation and solar wind are still intense enough to create an ion tail (very weak in this image), a greenish coma and a brownish dust tail.
Not sure if it will ever come back, currently its orbital elements suggest that maybe not … but the gravitational influence of the outer planets might still change its orbit to an ellipse and it may revisit our descendants in 50000 years or so.
At that particular day it showed up pretty close to the well known gas nebulae IC403 and IC410, also known as the Flaming Star Nebula and the Tadpoles Nebula respectively, two star forming regions in constellation Auriga. The first being about 1600 light years away, the second far behind in 12000 light years distance.
