IC 1871 is a star forming region in Cassiopeia, associated to IC 1805 (Heat Nebula), 7000 light years from here.
This is the final version of several different ways of processing this image.

Similar to the processing of IC1805 (Heart Nebula).
Earlier processing with Gimp instead of PixInsight produced more reddish results. I do not want to say, that you cannot come to a result as above using Gimp … you certainly can. But at that time I did not yet know …
